The isolation and Starter Protection Electrical Upgrade (ISPU) is one such example. Effectively a collection of modifications for large Liebherr excavators, this system simplifies the isolation process and prevents electrical component damage as a result of improper machine operation. Automatically isolation the starter circuits during operation, the the entire machine after a period of inactivity, provides additional protection. All large Liebherr excavators in the µç¾º²©²ÊÍƼö fleet, from 9250s to 9800s, will be fitted with the IPSU. Liebherr supports the modification and will specify similar isolation hardware for future excavator and shovel models. "
